HAZARD OF METHANE GAS

While it is true that Methane is a colorless, odorless and highly flammable gas, out in the field during our surveys, the gas imposes little threat to inspectors.  If we were in an enclosed facility, additional precautions are taken. There are however other naturally occurring gases that pose far more significant dangers.  For example, if there is the chance of gases such as H2S, additional equipment is necessary to indicate it’s presence
